We talk all day about how important our dogs are to us. We talk about how cute dogs are, and we talk about how funny dogs are, and we talk about how goofy dogs are. We talk about the fact that they just need to exist as their goofy little selves for us to be happy, for joy to be a constant presence in our homes. All of that is undoubtedly true, that's for sure. But something that we don't often talk about or appreciate is how smart our doggos can be.

Sure, most of the time, our dogs are goofy as heck, but sometimes, they are hit by moments of genius that we cannot deny. Like the doggo in this story. He knew what he was doing when he was tricking his owners into giving him two breakfasts. He knew that what he was doing went against the norm. But he did it anyway. Because he saw an opportunity, and he knew how to execute the pawfect plan.

You know, as pet owners ourselves, we have to say that we respect such schemes. It is not easy to pull a wool over our eyes when we spend the entire day every day looking at our pets and thinking about how friggin' cute they are.
